I graduated from Torrance High School in Torrance, California in 1976.
Three Rivers College, AA in 1983
Southeast Missouri State University, B.S in Animal Science, Minor: Business Administration (1986), B.S in Elementary Education, Grades 1 – 8 (1997).
Southeast Missouri State University, Master of Natural Science in Education (2000).
I have received certification to teach Science and Math, grades 6 – 9.
I began teaching at Sikeston Alternative Center in 2003. I currently teach Biology, Physical Science, Algebra 1A and 1B, and Geometry.
I began teaching in Bloomfield where I taught 3rd grade. I have also taught in Puxico where I taught 7th/8th Grade English and Science.
I was married to Tom Coleman on March 29, 2016. My previous name was Tamara Donner. I have 3 sons, 2 step-sons, and 1 step-daughter. One son is a policeman in Dexter, Missouri. One step-son is Sargeant of Detectives in Sikeston, Missouri. My oldest son works at Faurecia in Dexter, Missouri. He also is part-owner of the Lil’ Engine Shop in Dexter. I have 3 grandsons. My oldest, Carson, attends Puxico School. The other two are not in school yet.
I love animals and have a horse, a pony, one dog, and two cats.
I am an outdoors person. I horseback ride, duck hunt, fish, and visit natural areas. I like to read and do so constantly when not grading papers. I like to visit and spend time with my grandchildren, who live about 20 minutes from my home. I like to cook and try new dishes when I have time.
